I love that place...Too bad I don't have a "teacher ID". I wonder if I could prove it some other way. I get coupons from them all the time anyway though, so I guess it doesn't really matter!
I was wondering about the ID thing for some of those, like teachers and firefighters (do they have firefighter IDs?). I'm going to try to find out for you and report back. Although you're right, NY&C is very good about sending out lots of coupons!
I called the Valley View location, and they said you needed a teacher ID (even though I pointed out that lots of teachers don't have those) or a pay stub that says you're a teacher. That's probably not much help. I'm sure there are some stores that will take your word for it, so it's worth a shot mentioning it if you're buying something anyway!
